Reaching out to Spirit Guides and Archangels has become such a natural part of my daily life—it’s like stirring honey into my tea. Over the past year, I’ve connected with my Divine Team almost every day. Sometimes it’s for healing or guidance, other times it’s for peace, clarity, or even parenting support. It’s a relationship that continues to grow and deepen, and it always leaves my soul feeling nourished.
If you’re hoping to open up to your own guides—or to strengthen a connection that already exists—there are so many gentle ways to begin. And the more you practice, the more natural it becomes.
You are never alone. Your Divine Team is always with you. You chose each other before this lifetime began. Most of your guides will come and go depending on your life stage or needs, but your main guide is with you for the long haul—across many lives, not just this one. These beings love you unconditionally. They support your soul’s growth and will challenge you sometimes, but never judge. You may have a guide for each major area of your life: career, health, creativity, relationships, parenting, spirituality—you name it. These guides have lived as humans before. They’ve walked through joy, struggle, anger, love, pleasure, pain… they know what it means to be human.
Archangels
Archangels are a little different. They’ve never incarnated on Earth. While we’re all made of the same divine light, Archangels remain closer to Source and serve as powerful messengers and healers. I turn to them when I need strength, protection, forgiveness, or miracles. Where Spirit Guides help with everyday situations, Archangels offer the big-picture, high-frequency support.
Don’t worry about who is reaching out at first. Just follow your curiosity.
If your heart is open and your intentions are clear, you’ll connect with them. It really is that simple. The key is trust—trust that you’re surrounded, trust that you’re safe, and trust that your guides and angels are communicating with you, even if you don’t fully understand how yet.
Over time, the signs become more familiar. For me, I see feathers, butterflies, and orbs of light when angels are close. Sometimes I hear a name in a dream or meditation, and other times I find myself repeatedly crossing paths with someone whose name matches an angel. These nudges are gentle, but they’re unmistakable once you tune in.
Don’t worry about who is reaching out at first. Just follow your curiosity. The right connection will always reveal itself.
A Simple Meditation to Begin
Find a quiet place to sit comfortably with your feet grounded and your palms open. Close your eyes. Begin by taking slow, deep breaths—in through the nose, filling your belly and chest—and exhale gently. As you breathe, feel your connection to the Earth beneath you. At the same time, imagine the crown of your head opening to connect with the divine light above. You are safe. You are held.
Now invite an Archangel to step forward. You can call on a specific one or let one come to you. When they arrive, simply notice. Feel their presence. Sense their color or energy. Ask their name. Ask for a message or sign. Trust the very first thing that comes to you—whether it’s a word, a color, an image, or a feeling. Stay in this connection as long as it feels right. It might be a few minutes or much longer. When you’re ready to close, thank them. Imagine wrapping yourself in a bubble of light. Come back to your body. Open your eyes.
After your meditation, you might want to journal, draw, or simply rest in the feeling. Try to avoid screens or noisy distractions immediately after—you’ve just touched something subtle and sacred.
If you ever feel unsure during meditation, ask for protection: Only beings of pure light and love may be with me now. And when you want to seal your prayer or intention, simply say: And so it is. This helps you release the request and trust it has already been answered in the best possible way.
I hope this guide inspires you to begin your own connection practice. It’s a relationship that grows stronger the more you trust and invite it in. And if you ever want to share your own story or ask a question, I would love to hear from you.
With love, always.
